Here’s How Electric Trucks Can Help Decarbonize The Trucking Industry

Trucking is integral to the global economy, keeping our stores stocked and our businesses running. But trucks generate about 5% of global CO2 emissions and up to 15% of European emissions. Technology already exists to roll out zero emission trucks, such as battery electric trucks and hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks. Electric trucks are already cheaper to own over their lifespan than diesel ones, but upfront costs can be prohibitive.
