Yuta Hirayama is a Smart City Project Lead at the World Economic Forum Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Japan. Prior to the Forum, Yuta led new business development in the private sectors, as well as startup ecosystems and smart city projects at Fukuoka, D.C, Japan. At the Forum, Yuta has engaged in the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance (GSCA) since March 2019, while actively involved in social implementation of technology as a visiting associate professor at Nagoya University, visiting associate professor at Kumamoto University, and research fellow at Institute of Systems, Information Technologies and Nanotechnologies (ISIT).
