Global Shaper, Auckland Hub

Pok Wei Heng is a climate change consultant and Startmate Climate Tech Fellow specialising in social procurement, human rights, and responsible climate innovation. His work sits at the intersection of climate tech innovation, systems change, and decarbonisation policy—advising on solutions that accelerate decarbonisation while strengthening social outcomes.

Pok’s insights on climate transformation, strategic foresight, and the role of faith and civil society in systemic transitions have been featured by the World Economic Forum and TIME. His emerging research explores how ancient Chinese philosophy, such as the Tao Te Ching, informs long-term decision-making in climate technology and investment.

Pok has contributed to global platforms including the World Economic Forum (Davos), Nobel Prize Dialogue, and COP26. He has served as a Design Partner for WEF’s UpLink Open Innovation platform and as an Expert Contributor to the Terra Carta Seal under the Sustainable Markets Initiative, founded by King Charles III. He is also a member of WEF’s Future50 Initiative and a Contributor to its foresight publications.
