Vaishali Rastogi heads BCG’s global Technology, Media and Telecommunications business (TMT) covering segments from enterprise software, infrastructure, semiconductors, IT services, to information services/consumer media, and telco. She has led a step change in business performance with expansion to many new segments, where technology is a horizontal impacting multiple sectors rather than just a traditional vertical sector, e.g. covering fintech, healthtech, and other growth tech. Vaishali has been part of the GenAI leadership both in partnering with tech firms and leading enterprise deployments across verticals, to transform functions from service, marketing, as well as internal productivity and other specific vertical use cases.
At BCG, Vaishali has held a number of leadership positions at BCG, including being a member of BCG's Global Executive Committee which is the top governance body of the firm equivalent to a Board. Vaishali has also been the co-leader for BCG’s sales topic globally.
Vaishali brings deep experience in driving technology led transformative change and growth in both local and global businesses, which includes working with tech partners to drive end to end change and capability build. As global head of TMT, she covers both the incumbent businesses but also the ‘growth tech’ players – tech disrupters in multiple industries that are scaling rapidly.
Vaishali remains deeply passionate about diversity and inclusion, mentoring young talent, including women in tech. She has been recognized by multiple organizations over the years for her DE&I efforts and was recognized as one of the top 25 Technology Leaders in Consulting globally, and the only female in the list for 2022. She continues to be very active in Digital inclusion where she has works with different organizations in the journey towards better inclusivity.
