Ulf Narloch works at the World Bank Group’s Climate Change Chief Economist Office, based in Washington DC. His current focus is on sustainability measurement and diagnostics, green growth policies and the poverty impacts of climate change. He is serving as co-chair of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform’s Research Committee on Metrics and Indicators and has been an author of the Global Monitoring Report 2014/2015.Prior to joining the World Bank in 2013 Mr Narloch worked on a range of topics related to natural resource management, food security and rural livelihoods for the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), Bioversity International, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW). He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from Cambridge University.
