Sirma Boshnakova is a member of the Board of Management of Allianz since January 1st, 2022 responsible for the insurance business in the countries of Western and Southern Europe (France, Benelux, Italy, Turkey), for Allianz Direct, Allianz Partners, and Solvd. She is also Chairwoman of the Allianz Holding France.
Prior to this, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Partners from 2019 to mid-2022, where she led a customer-centric transformation of the business to build a highly innovative and competitive combination of insurance, services and technology. In her first role at Allianz SE, Sirma was the Executive Vice President / Head of Business Division for Southern and Western Europe from 2015 to 2019.
Before joining Allianz, she served as Board Chairwoman of a Health and Life Insurance company and CEO of a non-life insurance group of companies.
Sirma has also worked as COO and Executive VP Sales within the insurance sector, having begun her career in consulting.
A Bulgarian native, she holds both a Masters and a Ph.D in Economics.
