Shiloh Paswani

Shiloh Vongai Paswani is a Graduate of Biomedical Sciences and is currently in her 6th and final year as a medical student at the University of Zimbabwe who is passionate about creating affordable and accessible medical care in marginalized communities.

Volunteering with Doctors and Nurses on a Mission Trust, Shiloh has managed to advocate for policies that support health and well-being for old aged. She works hand in hand with qualified and experienced Doctors in providing Free Medical Services and so far she has been able to impact more than 2500+ lives in 6+ community outreaches. In each and every outreach she has gained experience from Runako team members who train youths in the marginalized communities on the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health as well as hands on training on how to make sanitary pads.

Shiloh is passionate about making a difference and bringing a gap towards Longevity Economy and Long HealthSpan particularly in the Mental Health Sector through providing safe space to those who need it. Shiloh has been part of other initiatives who are keen to help people live up to 100 years of age such as Ikare Longevity Foundation.A step towards the Mental Healthcare, Shiloh has implemented “l am Your Friend-Ndini Shamwari Yako” initiative in her hub.

Shiloh is one of the youths who are tackling Antimicrobial resistance in Zimbabwe. Under Generational Stewards for Antimicrobials ,where she serves as a Secretary General, she actively empowers the community on the importance of sanitation and hygiene in the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance. She also been part of the Zimbabwe National Debate Team which scooped first prize in African region in 2024 World Antimicrobial Awareness Week In Yaounde,Cameroon.

She has been able to be amplify her voice towards Education For All in her community and beyond through finding sponsorship opportunities for University students who are disadvantaged.In addition, Shiloh started tutoring about 40 students Mathematics in January 2025, bridging the gap between access and affordability. She aspires to build an application that can be accessed by students in marginalized communities to learn Mathematics.
