Sheila Penrose has been JLL's Chairman of the Board since 2005. From 2001 to 2007 Penrose served as an Executive Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group, and in 2000 she retired from her position as President of Corporate and Institutional Services at Northern Trust Corporation. She is currently an Economic Advisor to the UK Treasury and a Director at McDonald's, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Rush University Medical Center, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Chautauqua Institution. Former Director roles include Entrust DataCard, Nalco, and EFD Corp. Penrose received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Birmingham and a Master's degree from the London School of Economics. She also attended the Executive Program of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
