Santiago Septian is a Research Engineer for the Pollution Research Group at University of KwaZulu-Natal. Native from Mexico City, Dr. Santiago Septien obtained the degree of Chemical Engineer and a MSc in Environmental Engineering in the University of Toulouse, France. After a PhD and a post-doctorate about biomass thermochemical conversion (pyrolysis, gasification combustion), he acquired an expertise in the thermochemical research field. He also has participated to other types of projects mainly related to water sea desalination and waste water treatment
