Sael Al Waary is a seasoned professional with dual expertise in banking and technology, his career is driven by a deep-seated passion for FinTech and AI. At present, he serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank ABC Group, where he’s accumulated over 35 years of experience in various high-level roles within banking, management, and leadership, spanning across London and Bahrain. Bank ABC, under his leadership, boasts operations in 15 countries across five continents.
In addition to his role at Bank ABC, he holds several key executive board positions: Chairman of Bank ABC Jordan, Vice-Chairman of Bank ABC Egypt, and Chairman of Arab Financial Services B.S.C.—the premier payment solutions provider and Fintech enabler in the MENA region. Furthermore, he’s the Founder and Chairman of the ila Bank Advisory Board, leading Bahrain’s foremost digital mobile-only bank since its inception in November 2019. Ila Bank has seen unprecedented growth and is currently embarking on an ambitious expansion throughout the MENA region.
