Rodrigo Santos is currently President of Bayer’s Crop Science Division and Member of the Board of Management since January 2022.
Having completed his Agronomy and Crop Science undergraduate degree from Luiz de Queiroz School of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP), Santos obtained an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) - Ohio University.
With more than 20 years of agriculture experience under his belt, Santos held several positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Technological Development. His early international experience involved leading commercial operations in Romania and Bulgaria in Eastern Europe.
Prior to his current role, Santos was Monsanto’s President for Brazil and then later on, South America Hub Lead. Moving to Bayer, Santos headed the Crop Science Division for Latin America, followed by his appointment as Chief Operating Officer.
