Rewa Udoji

Visual Artist, Art by REWA

Rewa Udoji is a globally acclaimed visual artist and award winning finance professional whose work sits at the intersection of culture and capital. Known artistically as REWA, she has built a distinctive practice rooted in African heritage, creating figurative works that combine traditional symbolism with a contemporary visual language. She has delievered nine solo exhibitions to date, alongside many group shows and fairs spanning Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia.
Her work has been showcased at leading institutions including Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, The Africa Centre in London, The Contemporary Art Centre New Orleans (CACNOLA) and the Museum of Ethnology and Cultures of the World of Barcelona (MuEC), and is held in notable public and private collections such as Afreximbank, AXA XL, and the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection.
In 2024, REWA became the first African artist commissioned to design the official poster for the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival in its 64-year history, a landmark appointment that reflects both her global reach and her ability to translate African visual traditions into major public cultural moments. She was also featured in The Southern Review (Summer 2025 issue), the longstanding literary and arts journal published by Louisiana State University, in recognition of her cultural contribution to contemporary African art.
Parallel to her artistic practice, Rewa is an accomplished investment professional and founder of Cranstoun, a regulated investment platform established to expand African access to global capital markets and long term wealth building opportunities. Her work in finance reflects a wider commitment to broadening African participation in high quality institutional investment solutions and to challenging the structural inequities that have often excluded African investors from global wealth creation. Through Cranstoun, she is building a platform that seeks not only to deliver investment access, but also to contribute to a more confident, outward looking and globally connected African investment future.
Rewa’s dual leadership across art and finance has made her a compelling voice in conversations about creativity and value creation. She is the recipient of the 2024 Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award and a Black Women in Asset Management (BWAM) 40 Under 40 Award 2025 honouree, recognised for her bold and innovative contributions across industries.
