Reena is Head of AI Transparency & Standards at Google. She collaborates with research, policy, design, and global community-facing teams on the design and development of emerging standards for building and testing beneficial AI models and products, and sharing best practices across the AI ecosystem. Prior to Google, Reena was a product owner at IBM's Design Lab and narrative strategy lead on IBM's Strategic Editorial & Creative team, Executive Editor at frog design, and BusinessWeek's Innovation Department Editor. She is the President of the Board of Directors of the Asian American Arts Alliance, serves on the Board of Directors and fundraising chair of Baxter Street-Camera Club of New York. She is on the Ad Council's Ad Council's Emerging Media and Tech Committee and a member of the Partnership on AI's Model Deployment Guidelines working group.
