I am a Chartered Accountants by Profession and currently serve as Executive Director of ESP, an organisation that gathers, created and distributes information especially to young people and connects to them to networks and value chain opportunities across borders.
I have served as an auditor and business consultant over 24 years at PwC Namibia until the 31 December 2020 at the end of my 10 year service as the Firm's Country Senior Partner.
Over the years I have grown a burden concerning the triple challenges of unemployment, inequality and poverty that are facing Namibia. It is this burden that led me to pursue further studies (first the Master in Business Leadership and now Doctor in Business Leadership) with focus on the collaborative role required between the public and private sectors to drive inclusive economic growth and find common solutions to these challenges. It is also this burden that led change in my career from Auditing/Accounting to public servant to understand policy and how it drives the economy and now in the private sector with aim to support the growth and development of the Namibian private sector.
