Pedro Leitão is a Portuguese banker with 28 years’ experience in Financial Services Industry.
Master’s in Business Administration and Management from the ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Pedro also attended London Business School, Stanford University Graduate School of Education, INSEAD, amongst others prestigious international universities to further develop his studies in the financial industry.
Pedro Leitão started his career in 1995 at Banco BPI where he integrated the Corporate Clients Division. In 1997 joined BBVA where he reached Deputy Commercial Director for Lisbon area and in 2001 entered Deloitte where he served for 11 years in Consulting.
From 2002 to 2011 was Professor of ISEG and of Porto Business School.
In 2011 joined Banco Millenium Atlântico as Member of the Executive Board and in 2016 as Member of the Executive Board, Chief Digital Officer of Banco Atlantico Europa.
Currently, Pedro Leitão serves as Chief Executive Officer of Banco Montepio (since 2020), position that accumulates with that of Member of the General Council of AEM - Associação de Empresas Emitentes de Valores Cotados em Mercado and with Member of the Fiscal Board of Oeiras International School.
