Oguz A. Acar

Professor of Marketing and Innovation, King's College London

Oguz A Acar is a Professor of Marketing & Innovation at King's College London. He is also a Research Affiliate at the Digital Data Design Institute at Harvard University. He was recently named a World’s Top 40 Business School Professors Under 40.

Oguz's current research is at the nexus of generative AI, organisations, and education. His past research broadly covered behavioural innovation, drawing on social science to understand the creation, evaluation, and adoption of innovative outputs, be it a novel idea, product, strategy, or technology. This research has been published in leading academic journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Management, Psychological Science, Research Policy. Oguz also regularly contributes to executive-oriented outlets like Harvard Business Review and science-oriented magazines such as Scientific American, and he has been featured in numerous popular media outlets globally.

Previously, he was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stern School of Business (New York University). He completed his PhD from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He is an engineer by training.
