Melissa Chambers
CEO & Co-Founder, Sitehop
Melissa Chambers is CEO and Co-Founder of Sitehop, a UK deep-tech cybersecurity company developing high-performance, post-quantum secure infrastructure for protecting data in motion.
Since co-founding Sitehop in 2021, she has led the company through product development, manufacturing, commercialisation and international expansion. Melissa has nearly 30 years’ experience across hardware engineering, RF systems, manufacturing, programme management and technology startups, with previous roles at Curvalux, APEX Wireless, Xerion, Prism Microwave, Filtronic and NASA.
She studied Engineering at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Salisbury University.
Melissa is passionate about scaling deep-tech products that improve security, resilience and energy efficiency. She is a member of Cyber Runway Ignite and the Women’s Engineering Society, and has been recognised as Startup Magazine’s Inspirational Woman in Industry 2023 and one of the Most Inspiring Women in Cyber 2024.
Under her leadership, Sitehop has also received recognition through the UK National Cyber Awards and won the Cyber Security Innovation of the Year 2025 award at the ClimbUK Awards.
