I joined the Purdue University News Service as a Senior Editor/Writer, Communication Specialist on Oct. 1, 2018.
During my time at Purdue, I have worked with the following areas regarding media relations and news releases:
* College of Health and Human Sciences (assigned to Nursing, The White Lodging-J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management/Consumer Science, Human Development and Family Studies (and Military Family Research Institute), Public Health, Health and Kinesiology, and Nutrition Science).
* Commencement team
* Purdue Polytechnic High Schools (located in Indianapolis and South Bend)
* evGrand Prix
* Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering

I worked for 18 years at Franciscan Health's Marketing Department with responsibilities across Western Indiana (Lafayette, Crawfordsville, Monticello and Rensselaer). I have been an active member and volunteer with The United Methodist Church at the local church, extension ministry and state level.

I have participated in a variety of continuing education and leadership training at local, state and national levels.
