Manny Maceda is Chair of Bain & Company and served as Worldwide Managing Partner from 2018 to 2024. During his tenure, he led the firm’s transformation to embed digital and technology capabilities and deepen its focus on sustainability, while maintaining its strong culture and earning top rankings on Glassdoor, including #1 on the Best Led Companies list in 2024.
Since joining Bain in 1989, Manny has advised global CEOs and built deep expertise in large-scale transformations spanning strategy, growth, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness, with particular depth in technology. He also brings experience in generative AI, global realignment, stakeholder capitalism, and private capital.
He has held several senior leadership roles at Bain, including Chairman of Asia-Pacific and Global Leader of the Full Potential Transformation Group, and has served on the firm’s Board and Global Operating Committee.
Manny is an active member of the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council and First Movers Coalition. He also serves on multiple nonprofit and academic boards, including Bridgespan, MIT Sloan, and OneTen, and is a founding partner of The Asian American Foundation.
He holds an MS from MIT Sloan and a BS in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from Illinois Institute of Technology.
