Mamta Murthi is the Vice President for Human Development at the World Bank. She has held various positions in the World Bank, including Adviser to the Managing Director and Sector Manager for Education in the Europe and Central Asia Region. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mamta was a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Sussex, U.K., and Research Associate at STICERD at the London School of Economics.
