Fossil fuels are coming under threat from a source you might not have expected
Many people point to renewable energy as the greatest threat facing fossil fuel power plants. New WRI research finds that the real threat may be water.
Logan is the PowerWatch and Python Programming Intern at WRI. His time is spent designing and implementing a system to generate an open-source database of powerplants across the world. Logan's prior professional experiences were in academia, where he researched modern glaciers and ice sheets and developed methods to remotely sense glacier processes with ground-based geophysical instruments. Logan has taught and assisted with many geological field courses across the western United States and has participated in NASA-funded field research in Greenland.
