
Laura Lewis is an Education Consultant in the Human Development Network of the World Bank Group.
Currently, Laura works with the SABER-Engaging the Private Sector team, mapping the role of the non-state sector in education, to benchmark the policy intent, fidelity implementation and dialogue and to examine the role of private providers across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
Previously,Laura was the Lead Advisor for Education Performance at CfBT Education Trust. She has worked with multiple donors including the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID), the Asian Development Bank and AusAID. Laura joined CfBT from McKinsey and Company, where she worked in their Social Sector practice focusing on education and economic development. She holds a MA in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham (U.K.).
