Kendall Collins is the President & CEO of Government Cloud at Salesforce, overseeing Salesforce’s
business and portfolio of products that support governments around the world, as well as
Salesforce’s government affairs work. In his role, Kendall partners closely with government and
technology leaders to advance government modernization, deliver trusted AI, data, and cloud
solutions that accelerate agency missions, and establish frameworks for the responsible and secure
use of technology in the public sector.
Prior to leading Government Cloud, Kendall was the Chief Business Officer and Chief of Staff to Marc
Benioff at Salesforce, where he was responsible for leading strategic company initiatives, business
model transformation, and customer relationships for the Office of the Chair and CEO. Kendall was
also an executive at Salesforce from 2004 to 2016, where he held roles across sales, product, and
marketing, including as EVP and CEO of Salesforce Cloud, EVP and GM for Collaboration, and Global
CMO. He and his teams led Salesforce customers through a period of rapid innovation as the
company expanded its portfolio of clouds and developed groundbreaking social, mobile, and AI
technologies for CRM.
Kendall was previously CMO of Okta, CMO of AppDynamics (Cisco), and GM for Enterprise Software
at WeWork. He has also served as Executive in Residence at Accel Partners. He graduated with a
B.S. in commerce with distinction from the University of Virginia, a concentration in East Asian
studies, and studied at National Taiwan University.
