Josh Hinkel is a partner, based in Dallas, in Bain’s Industrials, Technology, and Supply Chain practices. Within supply chain he leads Bain’s efforts globally on Digital Operations and Traceability.
Josh has more than 19 years of management consulting experience, with a specific focus on leading broad, global supply chain transformation programs. Also, he has deep expertise across Integrated Business Planning, S&OP, and demand, supply, and inventory planning processes.
He has advised clients across a range of industries and sectors, including technology hardware, industrials, and food products. His case portfolio has spanned core growth strategy, complexity reduction, detailed operational redesign and cost improvements.
Josh joined Bain in 2000 and has since advised clients across US, Europe and Asia.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and bachelor's degrees in management science and mathematics, summa cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.
