JJ is an Associate in the Strategy & Risk Advisory team at J.S. Held, where he advises clients in the financial, FMCG, telecommunications, and oil & gas sectors on investment opportunities globally. He possesses deep expertise in global political and economic dynamics.
JJ also plays a key role in the firm’s due diligence and investigative practice. He has led high-profile investigations internationally, including mandates for several development finance institutions and private equity firms.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, JJ gained experience at Eurasia Group, UK, and the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) in Accra, Ghana, where he supported policy-influencing initiatives across West Africa.
JJ holds an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford, where he was a scholar at St Antony's College. He is a qualified lawyer and earned his law degree from Bowen University, Nigeria.
