Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Deep Principle Inc. He holds a PhD inPhysical Chemistry from MIT (Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering) advised by Prof. Heather Kulik. His primary research focuses on combining high-throughput quantum chemistry and AI to discover novel catalytic materials for carbon neutrality. He has published over 10 publications in top journals in computational catalysis, quantum chemistry, and functional materials. Dr. Jia served as the President of the MIT Chinese Students and Scholars Association (MIT CSSA) from 2022 to 2023. He holds a bachelor degree from both Jilin University and Tomsk Polytechnic University in Physics with highest honor. He was an honored member of the Tang Aoqing Honors Program and a recipient of the Outstanding Prize in Research & Practice. He has also conducted research at Dow Chemical core R&D in Midland, using AI to develop catalyst formulas and predict chemical reaction pathways. Dr. Jia was listed on "Forbes China 100 Most Influential Chinese" and "Forbes 30 Under 30 China 2024". Under the leadership of Dr. Jia, Deep Principle has successfully closed four rounds of funding, securing around $20 million USD.
