Han Yik

Head of Institutional Investors, World Economic Forum

Han Yik is the Head of Institutional Investors at the World Economic Forum. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing relationships with key institutional investors as well as thought leadership on topics relevant for leading sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments and family offices to engage them in the activities of the Forum. In addition, Mr. Yik is responsible for leading the team in delivering value in a manner consistent with the Forum’s mission of improving the state of the world; identifying complex, multi-stakeholder issues; and actively shaping and providing strategic guidance on projects and initiatives offered to Forum Partner companies. Prior to joining the Forum, Mr. Yik was a Senior Institutional Portfolio Strategist at U.S. Trust, where he managed multi-asset class portfolio solutions in an outsourced CIO capacity for a variety of institutional clients. He also served as a subject matter expert in risk management and liability-driven investing strategies as well as driving thought leadership efforts in the defined benefit space. He began his career at Towers Perrin where he worked as a consulting actuary. In 2006, he joined Mercer as a senior actuarial consultant.
