Ginger Zhe Jin is a Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. She received her BS from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1992, MA from the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China in 1995, and PhD from the University of California Los Angeles in 2000.
