Gina Vargiu-Breuer is SAP’s Chief People Officer and Labor Director, as well as a Member of the Executive Board. In her role, she leads the People & Culture organization and is responsible for SAP’s global People Agenda.
Driving individual and business growth, Vargiu-Breuer aligns leadership, culture and strategy and drives agility and adaptability of organizations. She advocates creating value through building sustainable, people-centered organizations and firmly believes that the true catalysts of innovation and growth remain people.
Vargiu-Breuer has more than 20 years of international human resources experience. Before joining SAP, she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Siemens Energy. She spearheaded the company’s spin-off from Siemens AG, successfully driving the transformation for 94,000 employees while constructing an entirely new HR value chain and business model.
Prior to this, Vargiu-Breuer held various positions at Siemens AG, where she also started her career, including Senior Vice President of Global HR for Gas & Power, Service & Digital.
Vargiu-Breuer holds a master’s degree in Economic Psychology from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany.
