Gillian Davidson is Sustainability and Responsible Supply Chain advisor with over 25 years experience in extractives and natural resources. She is the current Sustainability Advisor to the CEO of Eurasian Resources Group, chair of the Board of the Global Battery Alliance, a multi stakeholder initiative, and Chief Sustainability officer of Regeneration, a remining and restoration social enterprise.
Previously, Gillian was the Head of Mining & Metals at the World Economic Forum leading global and regional initiatives for responsible and sustainable development and was Head of Social Responsibility at Teck Resources. She has also held senior roles in government, academia and consulting. She holds a PhD in Development Economics and Geography.
Gillian is also an independent non executive director in the mining sector and chairs the sustainability committee for each board. She is co-chair of the WEFs Global Futures Council on Responsible Resource Use, past chair of International Women in Mining and an alumni of the Governor General of Canada’s Leadership Congress.
