Emily Henderson

Associate Professor, Ageing and Movement Disorders, University of Bristol

I am an Associate Professor of Ageing and Movement Disorders at the University of Bristol, UK and a Honorary Consultant Geriatrician at the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Bath. I lead the Ageing and Movement Research Group (AMRG) running a translational portfolio of research in neurodegenerative disease. We seek to improve quality of life for older adults through an ambitious series of clinical studies and interventional drug trials that focus on falls prevention and other prevalent and burdensome symptoms. I am an expert in Parkinson's and related diseases and care for older adults with these conditions in my clinical practice. I am Vice President of Academic Affairs of the Bristish Geriatrics Society, UK.
