Elizabeth Garbee

Ph.D. Student in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology, Arizona State University

Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Oberlin College in Astrophysics and Classical Greek Literature. During her undergraduate years, she studied gravitational wave astronomy and spinning black hole binary systems. She joined the Center for Science and the Imagination in August 2014 as a Research Assistant, and also as a PhD student in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at Arizona State University’s Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes. Her current graduate research interests include domestic science policy, informal science education, and intellectual property.
