Ed Hewitt is the Director of NCS at Respira, an impact driven carbon finance organisation. Over the past year, he’s helped Respira build a global portfolio of leading NCS carbon projects. Prior to Respira he led TNC’s forest program in Africa where he founded the Africa Forest Carbon Catalyst. Earlier roles at the unusual combination of BP (Alternative Energy) and Greenpeace (internship in India) have given him a unique insight into the thinking on these topics from a variety of perspectives and instilled a lifelong desire to try to find the common ground.
