Daan is the CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of IDH, a think-do tank that works with businesses, investors, governments, and civil society to realize sector, supply chain and landscape transformation for sustainable production and trade in global value chains.
Before becoming IDH’s CEO, Daan was IDH’s Global Director Landscapes and member of IDH's Management Team.
Daan has a strong passion for sustainable development and a conviction that economy and ecology can be balanced to support human development and safeguard our planet. He works by partnering with and mobilizing the private sector as a powerful force in partnership with governments and other stakeholders for the transformation of our economy.
