Dr. Charles Mwandawiro is a medical entomologist/parasitologist with over 20 years of experience in operational research and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). He serves as Chief Research Officer and Assistant Director of Partnership and Collaboration at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) where he coordinates School Health and Nutrition activities, particularly school-based parasite control and school feeding.
