Climate anxiety is on the rise — here's what we do about it
The fear of our once relatively stable climate breaking down is threatening people’s emotional and mental well-being all around the world.
Dr Britt Wray is a bestselling author and leading researcher working at the forefront of climate change and mental health. She is the Director of the Chair’s Special Initiative on Climate and Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of Stanford University School of Medicine. Her latest book Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Climate Crisis, is an impassioned generational perspective on how to stay sane amid climate disruption.
