Bernard Tawiah

Dr. Bernard Tawiah, ACCA is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Southern Utah University whose research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, capital markets development, and innovation financing. He previously served as a consultant with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) at the World Bank Group and was a Finance Technology Partner at Spark New Zealand, the country’s largest telecommunications company.

Dr. Tawiah’s research sits at the intersection of academic finance, development policy, and private sector strategy. His work on entrepreneurial finance and capital formation has been featured by the Cato Institute as part of its Research Briefs in Economic Policy series and published in leading international journals including the Journal of Banking & Finance. He is also a contributor to The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Private Equity. His research has been cited and discussed in policy and development finance discourse.
