It’s known as the “privacy paradox”: people say they want to protect their data privacy online, but often do little to keep it safe.
I am a psychologist and professor of Marketing with focus on Consumer Behaior at Vienna University of Economics and Business where I head the Institute for Marketing & Consumer Research. My research focuses on how consumers feel about and interact with their assets. I put a particular focus on experiences of ownership and financial decisions. In addition to my academic research I consult for companies and institutions of different sizes and am president of WWG Forum Marketing.
