Beatriz Camacho-Ávila is Associate Director at IESE Business School’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EIC), where she leads global initiatives on corporate venturing and innovation ecosystems. With 15+ years of international experience across Europe, the Western Balkans and the Americas, she combines applied research with the management of large-scale innovation portfolios and executive education programmes. Previously, at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Climate-KIC, she directed multi-country programmes on sustainability transitions, innovation policy and the science–policy–practice interface. A former Aspen Institute NextGen Fellow and World Bank I4C Young Climate Innovator, she works at the intersection of corporates, startups and public institutions to advance the EIC’s mission of generating a positive impact through thought leadership and networks supporting entrepreneurs, innovators and investors.
