Anthony is a new-generation strategist at the crossroads of international economics, digital transformation and sustainable development. Renowned for connecting the dots between geopolitics and geoeconomics, he brings a multidisciplinary lens and entrepreneurial mindset to every project, from advancing global value chain resilience to pioneering data-driven insights for policy and investment.
As co-author of the Africa section and comparative benchmarking in Chapter 2 of the Global Value Chain Development Report 2025, he led the creation of a comprehensive GVC Readiness Index, built on four strategic pillars: technology, trade and logistics, sustainability and institutional/geopolitical resilience. His work bridges academic rigour and practical innovation to shape debates in public, private and industry spaces.
With experience spanning Morgan Stanley, Johns Hopkins and impactful research for the Global Value Chain Development Report, Anthony’s background fuses financial markets acumen, global markets expertise, institutional research and creative problem-solving. He thrives on complexity, whether designing new indices, mapping digital divides or envisioning green growth opportunities and entrepreneurial solutions in emerging economies.
He holds an M.A. in International Affairs from American University and dual B.A. in Media & Communication Studies and Political Science from UMBC. Anthony’s passion lies in reshaping geopolitics, international trade, entrepreneurship and the new geometry of global value chains, one big idea at a time.
