Here's what Alzheimer's disease really does to your brain
Around 50m people worldwide are thought to have Alzheimer’s disease. And with rapidly ageing populations in many countries, the number of sufferers is steadily rising.
Anna graduated in June 2015 with a first class BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen.
She joined life sciences/pharmaceutical company TauRx Therapeutics Ltd. in October 2015 as a PhD student, working within translational neuroscience at the University of Aberdeen. Her project primarily focuses on the synaptic alterations and neuroinflammation observed within models of Alzheimer's Disease and Tauopathy.
