Andrew Ponec is co-founder and CEO of Antora Energy. Antora builds and deploys thermal batteries to power always-on industrial operations with low-cost energy.
Prior to founding Antora, Andrew founded the solar energy company Dragonfly Systems. Dragonfly developed and commercialized novel power electronics for utility-scale solar power plants, and was acquired by SunPower in 2014. Ponec led Dragonfly’s team through concept generation, prototyping, validation testing, manufacturing, and installation.
Andrew received his B.S. in energy systems engineering from Stanford University, where he researched advanced photovoltaics and power electronics.
