Andrew George is President, Specialty, Marsh Risk. Based in London, Andrew has overall responsibility for Specialty’s global business, which includes the Aviation, Construction, Credit Specialties, Cyber, Energy and Power, Financial and Professional Lines (FINPRO), Marine, Cargo and Logistics, and Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions (PEMA) practices. Prior to this role, Andrew was Global Head of the Energy and Power Practice. Andrew has more than 35 years of leadership experience, having joined Marsh Risk in 1988. In 2004, he was appointed Head of the Energy Practice for the Middle East and North Africa region, based in Dubai. He then returned to London in 2008 to become CEO of the Energy Practice for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2012, Andrew was appointed Global Chairman of the Energy Practice, which was extended in 2015 to become the Energy and Power Practice. In addition to his responsibilities as President, Specialty, Andrew is a company-appointed Trustee of the Marsh UK Pension Fund.
