Andrei Markevich

Associate Professor, New Economic School in Moscow

Andrei Markevich is an associate professor at the New Economic School in Moscow. He is also a national fellow for the academic year 2014-15 at the Hoover Institution, Stanford. He received his PhD from the Institute of Russian History, Russian Academy of Science in 2002. He worked for the International Institute of Social History in 2002-2005 and was a Marie Curie Research fellow at the University of Warwick in 2005-2007 before moving to the New Economic School. Andrei specializes in economic history. His paper on Russian national income in 1913-1928 was awarded to Russian National prize in applied economics in 2011.
