Alpen Sheth, PhD, is Senior Technologist at Mercy Corps. He co-founded FinX.vc at Mercy Corps Ventures to expand financial inclusion through crypto investments, pilots, and capacity building in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also a member of the Social Impact Advisory Board at the Diem Association.
Alpen obtained his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in international development and technology policy and has previously worked at the World Bank Group, Harvard School of Public Health, Risk Management Solutions, and co-founded inured.org, a research institute based in Haiti.
