Formerly a conflict zone photographer with work in Darfur, Iraq, DRCongo and Afghanistan her work increasingly focusses on documenting under-reported human rights issues. Her images have appeared in hundreds of publications, her commissions have helped numerous large NGOs including raising awareness for the non-profit she founded, Exposing Hope. Alissa has lived, worked and travelled through over 120 countries.
