英语“怪异”吗？当我们试图向学英语的人解释复杂的语言拼写规则或者像“it 's raining cats and dogs（下瓢泼大雨）”等俚语的意思时，很多人可能会觉得英语确实很怪。然而，教授或学习任何一门语言都并非易事。
Dr. Adam Schembri is based in the Department of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Birmingham, UK. He completed a Ph.D. in linguistics at the University of Sydney in 2002.
