Project LyFi

In the year 2030, over 800,000 young Jamaicans, roughly 30% of the city's population, will enter the workforce in the midst of the 4IR. How can we expect to prepare Kingston to innovate in the 4IR with methods and principles that originated almost 200 years ago? Project LyFi is an after school program aimed at students ages 13-17 years designed to cultivate innovative thinking through project-based learning. Together with local educators, the program will fully engage students to think innovatively to solve problems within their community. The project will also help students build their confidence and independance by allowing them to lead projects with the support of qualified educators.
