Personal Development and Grooming Program

Global Shapers Faisalabad has initiated a “Personal Development and Grooming Program” for child labourers and slum children with the aim of sharing love and care with the children and helping them learn basic ethics which can change their lives. The team has also planned to teach these children and bring them in the society as a confident member. Seven visits each to selected branches of the Umeed School Foundation are planned with different workshop themes of teaching social morals, general ethics, manners and personal grooming. The aim is to provide non-formal training sessions to the street & working children chiefly from the deprived section of our society and to promote literacy, ethics and morals among adults, people who are illiterate, villagers in need from rural areas, and slum dwellers of urban areas. The project will help 500 children of Umeed Foundation school to become confident members of the society.
