The program will broker a connection between exceptional Toronto high school students to cutting edge STEM research being performed in Toronto universities. The goal is to select a few student which excel and are currently involved in STEM and Identify their areas of interest. The program will then broker a connection between the students and research groups in local universities which are performing research in the respective fields of interest. By establish a rich conversation between the student and the researchers it will result in an increased interest in the field. In addition to furthering the education and interest of the selected students the experience in general will be utilized to excite other high school students to pursue education in STEM and promote research being performed in the area.
